Olivia and Daniel

Olivia is quite taken with her new brother and, initially at least, wanted to breastfeed him too - just like Mummy! She had to be content to pretend to feed Daniel's teddy bear instead :-)

Our Beautiful Baby Boy

Our beautiful baby boy, Daniel Abraham was born on April 14th 2010 at 04.56hrs, weighing in at an impressive 4.11 kg! It was a very straight forward birth compared with Olivia's, though the 2nd (pushing) stage lasted only 6 mins and was intensely painful to say the least....Still, all very much worth it :-)

BEFORE: Me having an assessment (and looking quite fresh at this point). The trace from the monitor said that I just had an 'irritable' womb and was only in early labour.




AFTER: Hard work (as you can tell!).

No wonder he was so heavy, he's a very long baby and nearly filled the hospital cot! He's also got an incredible amount of dark hair, unlike Olivia who was practically bald when she made her appearance into the world.

Thomas' 7th Birthday Party

We've had a lovely time this morning going to Thomas' 7th birthday party at Telford's Tenpin Bowling Alley. Olivia did really well, but not even getting 3 strikes in a row (a turkey!) was exciting enough to trigger any labour pains for me!
