Sunday 14th March was Richard's 33rd birthday and also just 2 days before Olivia's 3rd birthday. We decided that it would be good to have a joint party for the 2 of them, though in reality it was really a party for Olivia (Richard never being keen on being the centre of attention).
We had a really good afternoon. The weather was a little chilly at times but the sun was out for most of it and there was no rain, meaning we could be based in the garden. Despite getting a bit panicked by it all (I felt I really didn't know what I was doing and was worried there weren't going to be enough children), it went well. Only 2 games were needed in the end: pass-the-parcel and musical statues; the rest of the time the children charged about the garden.
