Well, December was a busy time. My manager wanted to retire and as no one could persuade him not to he left, but not before a farewell Christmas meal at a wonderful curry house in Ironbridge in a building which used to be the old police station. As some know, John is a big fan of Lada cars (it takes all sorts I suppose!) and so I managed to persuade Richard to make him a Lada cake.
And then on his very last day we had coffee and cake in the Kaldi cafe at work.
