Sunday BBQ at Jan's

We had a great time at Jan and Andy's. Olivia enjoyed herself in the pool (thanks Mark) - but no pictures of this unfortunately.

Pre-Schooler + Paint = Mess!

Note to self: Do not leave a 3-yr old to paint pictures unattended....

She looked like she'd donned a pair of evening gloves!

Scarifying

We booked Green Thumb to, hopefully, solve all our lawn-related problems. In preparation for their first visit they recommended that we scarify the lawns first. So, the day before they called Richard set to it with the scarifier and raked out TONNES of moss. It was a much bigger job than he anticipated (!). Olivia always likes to help as you can see:

Visit from Caitlin and Rachel

The girls had a lovely time in the sand pit.

Daniel

Olivia's Imaginary Baby

When Mummy has a baby then Olivia has to have one too, and as breastfeeding is all part and parcel of having a baby then Olivia has to as well...

More Olivia and Daniel

Olivia loves holding her little brother.

Clever Girl

Olivia's development goes from strength to strength. She is OBSESSED with the CBeebies website and has also nagged Richard into showing her how to play chess (though admittedly her interest in chess soon waned...)

Extended 80th Birthday Celebrations

Uncle Bill's birthday celebrations extended to the next day when a few of us joined them for tea at the Bridge Builder. Daniel slept through the whole thing!

Uncle Bill Turns 80!

Uncle Bill turned 80 in April and to celebrate he and Aunty Nat organised lunch for a large number of friends and family at the Telford Whitehouse. It was great to see everyone, particularly Bex, Ivor, Molly and George. Molly and George were all thrilled to see their new cousin and Molly loved being able to spend some time playing with Olivia. Daniel was only 10 days old at the time - he's started socialising pretty early!

Think Richard wasn't overly confident in Ivor's ability to hold babies though!

Hospital Visitors

We had a number of visitors in hospital. Here are a few pics of some of those that popped by to say Hello to our little boy:

To the Gate

Whilst Daniel and I were busy in hospital, Richard took Olivia off to The Gate at Bratton for lunch.
