Don't Look Now Gran Cruxton...

...but Olivia's helping Richard to butcher a rabbit! She seems pretty handy with a knife:

Chris' Birthday Buffet

It was Chris' birthday last week and so they invited us and some other friends around on Saturday night for a buffet. Tim pulled out all the stops and did a fabulous spread. Chris decorated their pets who were then suitably embarrassed. However, they did photograph well (if a little blurry). Shame, I only thought to take a few pictures at the start of the evening. Once we got chatting that was it...

Play Doh Bears

We bought Olivia a set of Play doh for Christmas (aka 'Ro-Ro'). In an idle half hour one evening whilst watching Underworld I thought I would make some bears using each colour and the teddy bear mould. I only mention it because I thought the overall effect was rather good:

Happy New Year!

Chris and Tim came round for New Year. I cooked dinner and Richard did canapés to have with cava at midnight. I thought they were exceptionally pretty - what a chef!

Start of Toilet Training?

For a while now Olivia has been interested in potties and toilets. Some days she really seems 'into' them and other days less so. Often if other, older children, are about she asks to use them and quite often she'll 'perform'. We're not pushing it at all but I did think she might like her own toddler seat for the toilet for Christmas (we did get her other stuff too!). She quite enjoys sitting on it and will happily have a wee-wee and read magazines.

Go away, this is private moment!

Can't quite work out this toilet paper stuff:

Telly Time

Sometimes it's good after a bath just to sit around in front of the telly...

Boxing Day 2008

Richard's friend Bredon came to visit us.

Christmas Day 2008

Didn't remember to take many pictures this Christmas. We had a lovely day though. Went to church, went to Richard's parents for lunch, then home for a bit then off to my folks for Christmas tea. Like last year, we stopped over and so were able to relax and have some wine.
